The WCC Board is working to ensure that WCC remains the club that our members have long enjoyed. We currently believe that a land exchange, while challenging, represents our best option. Purchasing the land would allow WCC to make secure much needed investments in protecting and restoring the building. We need your all the members of the club to voice their opinon in this effort.In order for the exchange to work, we would need the following (or some combination that makes the numbers work):
- Additional pledges of $750,000, to raise a total of $1 million
- Commitment to annual dues of at least $1,200
- Membership enrollment of at least 180 members all paying this new annual dues rate.
In order to move forward with the significant work involved in a land exchange, the Board needs to know that it is the desire of the majority of the membership.
